The 热情好客 and 旅游管理 major within the 管理与商业 & 信息技术 Department prepares students for a wide range of positions within hotels, 度假村, 水疗, 乡村俱乐部, 餐厅, 餐饮操作, 邮轮公司, 赌场, 旅游及旅游组织, 会议服务, 活动及婚礼策划, 以及娱乐设施. Courses within the major expose students to the various management functions in the hospitality industry including lodging operations, 餐饮业务, 客户服务, 市场营销, 人力资源, 财务管理, 技术运用与管理, 法律和道德规范, 设施管理, 和策略.

通识教育要求

All students must satisfy a general education requirement consisting of ten (10) courses outside of the major department. The 通识教育 Domain III-C (Global Competency, 道德推理, and/or Human Diversity) requirement is satisfied through the completion of the 热情好客 and 旅游管理 major.

Learning Outcomes for this major program:

  6. 学生 will be able to operate and utilize information systems typically used in the hospitality industry.

  8. 学生 will be able to operate as an entry-level supervisor in operational departments within the hospitality industry.
